Piece4Peace-Largest Anamorphic Live Painting in 4Hrs-A New World Record

Welcome to the official website for Piece 4 Peace, the worlds’ largest 3D anamorphic painting, a new world record set on 24th February 2012.

The team under the banner of The New Horizon School WLL (NHS) has taken the Kingdom of Bahrain into the Guinness books of world record for the largest 3D anamorphic painting measuring 24,716.96 square feet (2293.79 square meters).

This record breaking attempt took place on the 24 February 2012 under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa at the NHS Carnival hosted by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

In less than 4 hours, the team has completed the artwork to perfection with 400 liters of paint and a lot of enthusiasm. The team consisted of an expert artist panel comprising of professional artists on the island who performed the task of a zone leader with NHS teachers, staff, parents and students in every team as sub artist and volunteers.

Every drop makes an ocean; similarly, various elements from various corners formulate ‘Peace’, which is the desire of every individual and nation. Piece 4 Peace is a representation of the reality and awareness that when various pieces from the 4 corners are brought together in harmony then it will for sure give birth to ‘Peace’.

About New Horizon School, the host & facilitator for Piece 4 Peace event

New Horizon School (NHS) was established in 2000 with the motto 'To Educate To Rebuild’, which signifies the noble idea of bringing about positive changes in the individual to make him/her an instrument of progressive changes in the society thereby participating in the stupendous task of rebuilding the world of tomorrow.

With the vision to deep root the child in his/her own cultural heritage and motivate him/her to absorb from outside influences only what is right and better for his/her personal excellence, the Management envisages the growth of the students as beacons of light that come forward to render selfless and efficient service for a better tomorrow.

The school which had started off as an institution catering for kindergarten soon grew to the status of a primary school due to the commitment and dedication of the management and staff.
